Uncovering innovative solutions in Europe

Co-operative housing models offer more than just a place to live.

Liz Thomas joined this eye-opening Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) study tour of co-operative housing models to uncover innovative solutions to Australia’s housing affordability crisis and explore the potential of the “missing middle” – the co-operative housing sector. The tour has demonstrated the transformative potential of the co-operative housing model. Common Equity Housing Limited (CEHL), BCCM and the Australian Co-operative Housing Alliance (ACHA) will further explore innovative solutions that prioritise affordability, community and resident wellbeing, and put these lessons into action.
