Our Purpose

CEHL provides appropriate, secure, and affordable housing and fosters rental housing co-operatives to thrive, so that more Victorians experience the dignity of a home in a community guided by the seven international cooperative principles.

CEHL has a team of nearly 80 people working in the following business units:

Making the difference

We offer a competitive salary, plus;

  • $15,900 salary packaging
  • $2,650 meals & entertainment allowance
  • Four weeks annual leave* plus six additional days* leave with full pay over the Christmas closure period. 
  • Hybrid working arrangement* (3 days in office out of 5)
  • 5% leave loading
  • Mobile phone for eligible employees, including personal use

CEHL is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from co-op members, interested in nominating for a two-year term on the CEHL Board as a Co-op Elected Board Member.

One position for an Elected Board Member will become vacant at the next AGM held on Saturday 23 November 2024.
