Lifelong renting is becoming a reality for many Australians, but the nature of our housing market often forces many renters to pack up and move regularly - something that is both hugely disruptive and costly.

New research from Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) shows only 2 out of 5 renters are likely to become homeowners.
