Annual Rent Review

2025 Annual Rent Review

Common Equity Housing Limited (CEHL) conducts an Annual Rent Review for all properties to determine household rent for the upcoming financial year.

Every household is required to update their household and income information using the Household Information Form (HIF). This information is used to assess and calculate household rent.

The Rent Setting Policies outline how rent is determined, assessed and reviewed for Co-ops, VicWide and Direct Renters.  These policies ensure the process is consistent, clear and transparent.

Household Information Form (HIF)

By now, you should have received a hard copy of the Household Information Form (HIF) from either CEHL or, if you are a CERC member, this will have been sent by your CERC Treasurer or Rent Officer.

There are 2 options when completing your HIF:

  1. Complete the digital version below on your computer.
Please note that you must print and sign your completed HIF before returning it to CEHL.
  2. Complete the printable version below OR the hard copy you will have received by post.

Completed forms can be returned via email to finserv@cehl.com.au or using the prepaid envelope provided.

The Household Rent Guides below provide the information you need to complete your HIF.
